Federal- and state-level election data used by the Senate and House of Representatives election results lookup systems is now available in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format.
The data files (two per federal election, one for the Senate and another for the House of Representatives) consist of the following columns, unless otherwise indicated:
The election statistics come from official reports and data files issued by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) and the Parliament of Australia's Parliamentary Library. Note that the 2013 Senate election results in Western Australia were subsequently declared void, and a fresh Senate election was held on April 5, 2014 in that state only.
